House rules

If you have any questions about the accommodation or any other concerns, please send us an email!

  1. Smoking and open fires are prohibited on the hostel premises. In the event of non-compliance, we must charge the guest 150.00 euros for the increased cleaning costs and the associated loss of revenue. Should the smoke detectors trigger fire department operations, we must also charge the guest for these considerable costs.

  2. Pets may only be brought along after prior consultation and with the permission of the operator for a fee.

  3. The night's rest from 22:00 to 06:00 must be observed. Loud noises are to be avoided during this time. Music may only be listened to with headphones.

  4. Bringing and consuming alcohol or drugs in the rooms is prohibited.

  5. For reasons of hygiene, it is not permitted to store or prepare food in the rooms.

  6. Serious and repeated harassment of other guests can lead to termination of the accommodation contract without notice, claims for damages and a ban from the house.

  7. The use of the guest's own electrical equipment using the stationary power grid requires the consent of the Hostel.

  8. The Hostel accepts no liability for luggage and valuables.

  9. Visitors may be received in the common rooms. The overnight stay or even partial accommodation of persons from outside the hostel is strictly prohibited.

  10. Guests are required to cater for themselves. A kitchen equipped to the usual extent is available for this purpose, which can be used by all guests. It is therefore necessary to make arrangements with other guests/groups regarding times and extent of use.

  11. The toilets, shower and washroom are also available to guests for shared use. Mutual consideration is required.

  12. If the key is lost, the costs for the damage incurred and the replacement must be borne by the person responsible. The cost of losing the hostel key is approx. 100.00 euros.

  13. The guest must treat the furnishings of the house and the rooms with care and in particular avoid gross soiling and damage.

  14. The furniture, e.g. chairs, blankets etc., must always be left in the rooms in which they are found.

  15. In the event of damage to or soiling of buildings or inventory, the damage caused must be settled immediately by the person responsible.

  16. If soiling or damage that goes beyond the normal extent of use is discovered even after the guest's departure, the Hostel is entitled to charge the guest for the costs of repair, replacement or cleaning.

  17. This applies in particular to the replacement of:

  18. - Mattresses and mattress protectors, pillows and pillow protectors
    - bed linen
    - small electrical appliances and crockery
    - other furnishings, also on the hostel premises.
